New Special-Edition Protect the Pride Nala and Simba
A colorful addition has come to shops over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and for a good cause. Now available are the special-edition Nala and Simba which support the “Protect the Pride” conservation cause campaign. For each of these special-edition toys sold, Disney will donate $5 of the $20 price to the Wildlife Conservation Network. The money will be used to support the Lion Recovery Fund and their local partners. More information can be found at here.
We saw these available in several stores around Disney’s Animal Kingdom, including this display in Island Mercantile, near the front of the park. What I like about these is that they’re such a unique offering compared with your typical “buy this to support that” plush.
