New Toy Story Dresses and Purses You May Want to Pass

I am certain Toy Story 4 will be a heartfelt romp through our childhood nostalgia that will be successful at the box office and a favorite for years to come.

The merchandise, however? Disney, can we talk?

It’s no secret, that I’m a big fan of Loungefly purses and bags–they make some amazing fan-favorite designs, are sturdy for bringing around the theme parks, and are relatively reasonably priced when it comes to collectible purses and bags. But sometimes even your favorites have an off day. Loungefly has released a purse inspired by Bo Peep’s lost sheep that. . . Well, I’ll let the picture speak my thousand words.

The purse is $65. I’m not a betting person, but if I were, I’d wager you probably will be able to get that cheaper when this eventually arrives at the Outlets. And speaking of Outlets, I’m not a dress person, but some of the items from the Disney Dress Shop line have made me question that decision. (As recently as this week, I was oggling the Spaceship Earth dress, for instance.) They have a Bo Peep outfit that looks like it would be a great Halloween costume or cosplay outfit. You’d have to really, really like Bo to wear this anywhere else, however.

The scrubs-like body suit comes with a reversible skirt. It also comes with a pretty hefty price tag: $168. Ewe’ve got to be kidding me, Disney!

If you’re a Toy Story fan, not all is lost — there is another more traditional-styled dress available for the more reasonable price of $128 featuring all your favorite Toy Story characters and not looking as creepy as the other items.

I agree with your impressions completely. I can’t help but picture what that sheep bag will look like after a few weeks of use – in my experience fuzzy material like that starts to look worn very quickly.

Yeah no. Both pm very juvenile. The toy story dress is cute, but the style would best suit a 10 year old. I’ll stick to my Disney dresses that are a bit more discreet in their Disneyness.

At a quick glance I thought it was some kind of over dressed jammie with a night night dream bag…
