A New Start For Your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation
The thing that makes most Guests excited about their Walt Disney World vacation is the moment they head underneath those much loved Walt Disney World archways welcoming Guests to the resort. It is truly the first sign (literally) that you’ve arrived and the magic of your trip is about to begin. Soon, those entryways will look just a little bit different than you’re used to!
Gone will be the purples, greens, and reds that the current welcomes feature! Instead, the archway will see many shades of blue and golds, matching both the colors of the Cinderella Castle makeover at the Magic Kingdom, as well as the color change that is currently taking place on the Magic Kingdom Auto Plaza.
These refreshed gateways are all part of the transformation of The Most Magical Place on Earth in preparation for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.

Tone it down, cut it back, lay them off, trim the hours…I’m not feeling the magic. What next?
So far, not a fan. I’ll wait till I get there to really decide. For now, if feels like it kind of takes away the magic feel. We’ll see.
