Personalization Makes Ornaments and Gifts Extra Magical

It would not surprise anyone that many of my favorite ornaments are from my family vacations at Walt Disney World. The holiday season is an obvious time to think about ornaments and gifts, but I love finding them all year. Luckily, Ye Old Christmas Shop, Disney’s Days of Christmas, and Arribas Brothers Crystal Arts locations are open year-round.

My family shops for an ornament as a souvenir for every vacation. I also love to find personal ornaments as gifts for celebrations like weddings, new babies, and graduations; adding personalization is the perfect touch.

At Ye Old Christmas Shop in Magic Kingdom and the Disney’s Days of Christmas shop in Disney Springs, you can have just about any ornament personalized with a name, date, or image, like mouse ears and stars. Choose an ornament with at least some smooth, flat surface. Cast members carefully paint on the personalization.

Painted personalization is $5 for a name, year, or number, $15 for the month, day, and year, $5 for an additional word, and $5 for additional artwork (the first image is included). It typically takes approximately 2 hours to complete your order, and shipping is available.

Another option for personalization is to have an ornament or even many styles of glassware etched or laser printed at Aribbas Brothers Crystal Arts. They have shops in Disney Springs, Magic Kingdom, or the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT, and personalization is available at all of them.

Personalization at Disney’s Days of Christmas

At Disney’s Days of Christmas, getting an ornament personalized is a three-step process. Once you have chosen an ornament, you pay for it at the register. After your purchase is complete, head over to the personalization counter to place your order and choose the font, color, and any special touches like mouse ears or Santa hats. You’ll pay here again for the personalization. When it’s time to pick up your order, it will be waiting for you at the check-out desk by the shop’s side door.

Personalization at Ye Olde Christmas Shop

At Ye Old Christmas Shop in Magic Kingdom, you buy the ornament and order personalization in the same transaction. After paying, just head to the personalization desk. Or continue to shop and when your order is ready it will be waiting at the checkout desk.

Personalization at Arribas Brothers Crystal Arts

There are so many beautiful pieces in the crystal stores, but only the crystal and thicker glass items can be personalized.

The artists arrive around noon, so I suggest you place the order early. Then your order is waiting for them when they start their day, and you can pick it up around two hours after the artists begin their day. Shipping is available and can take up to two weeks.

At Arribas Brothers, the cost is $5 per word or date. They offer a 10% discount for annual passholders and DVC.
