Priceline Express Deals: Caribbean Beach in November

Anyone here sick of deals yet? I didn’t think so.

If you are hoping to catch a good deal in November, I have some more good news for you. You can still find deals at the Dolphin or use a little bit of technique to squeeze some Yacht Club deals out of Priceline.

Even better news is that as of this weekend, some nice $139 Caribbean Beach deals dropped as well!

I have to say, I love Caribbean Beach and now that the Skyliner is there I’m especially looking forward to staying there again at some point.

If you are lucky, you may also find some Art of Animation deals on select days, but they seem to have gotten the Halloween spirit and ghosted away. These deals were mostly in the $197 to $233 range, which leads me to believe that they were for suite rooms. Since deals on Priceline Express sometimes ghost away only to reappear later, I’ll just mention them quickly here and include them on my calendar below in case they come back.

Back to the Caribbean Beach deals, you’ll be happy to hear they run through the entire month and offer a significant savings over all of the other rates I could find.

As you can see below, even with an additional fee tacked onto the area room taxes, the Priceline Express deal is rivaled only by the current Annual Pass discount (if you have one), and even there the Express Deal would save you $24.39 per night.

(Note: the cheapest Regular non-hidden Priceline deal available to book was for Water view, so that difference is likely higher than it would be for a standard room.)

Spotting these Caribbean Beach deals is fairly straightforward: it is currently the only 3.5-star 8-guest rated resort in Bonnet Creek with a review count in the 300s. (321 to be exact.) The other 3.5-star resorts in that area are Coronado Springs with 495 reviews and Wyndham Bonnet Creek with a mere 21 reviews. Below are examples of Caribbean Beach in both hidden and regular deals.

Mobile App Weirdness Alert

Adding in a quick update to this info, ex-post-facto: If anyone is trying to book using one of the mobile apps, Priceline seems to be doing the same thing they did with the last set of drops: on mobile apps you will see the Caribbean Beach deals in results, but get a “Sorry! No Longer Available!” message when trying to book them. However, the deals are all bookable if you visit Priceline Express in a desktop browser.

The Usual Caveats

Before I post the full calendar of deals I’d like to add a few of the usual reminders: Priceline Express deals are non-refundable, so do your homework and take your time if you need to. Also, technically Express Deals only guarantee room for 2 people. However, because the vast majority of Disney resort rooms sleep 4, that is really not an issue. Once you book with 2 people you can try giving Priceline and/or Disney Wholesale a call to add more people to the room.

If you were able to book one of these rooms or just have a question about finding deals on Priceline Express, please let us know in the comments!

  • Forgot to add I searched for the moth of November.

    • AJ, Good timing!

I was just trying to figure out the extent of the deals on Hotwire. I did see those higher cost deals in the Hotwire app, but since they weren’t actually that good I never went back to see how available they were.
But, I am now seeing the CBR and Yacht Club deals in November similar to the ones on Priceline Express on a desktop browser. I’ll be trying to figure out how many of them there are and see if it is worth another post.

BTW, I’m testing out a theory that this Hotwire drop may have a pattern related to the number of days searched in a desktop browser that has them appearing or not. Guess we’ll see!

  • Have u noticed that deals for POP and Coronado springs are only appearing on the Hotwire app and not on a browser(phone or computer)? They also cost more. Only 11% off from original price 🙁 haven’t checked Priceline yet…

  • Success!! I hadn’t tried Firefox yet, and that worked. I was also able to snag a small promo code from my email for Priceline which cut another $20 off the total. Gotta love that!

Thank you again for your work on these deals. I look forward to every one of your posts because I know something good is coming!

  • Hi John –

Do you have a preferred browser that you use for desktop to find these? For both the Yacht Club deals from a few weeks ago, and these CBR deals, I continually get the “sorry not available”. I’ve cleared cookies, tried incognito, and checked in both IE and Chrome. Argh!

    • Hey Brian,
I tend to switch back and forth between Firefox and Chrome – there have been times when Priceline kept offering up the “Sorry!” on one and it worked on the other. Just now I tried both and had no issues – my suggestions would be exactly what you tried. Usually incognito works when all other things fail, so I’m scratching my head a bit.

I guess I have two last ideas in my magic bag of tricks: Easiest would be to use a browser on a phone (not the app) and when on Priceline site go into the browser settings and turn on the “Use Desktop site” setting. On the mobile Chrome browser you just have to click the 3-dot icon at top and check the Desktop site box in the menu.

The other is more advanced: Assuming the very unlikely chance (IMHO) that Priceline just doesn’t like your network IP address block, you might try connecting your computer to another network directly. You might try using your phone as a wifi hotspot or taking a laptop on the road to a coffee shop or library if possible. If not possible you could try some sort of proxy site to make it look like you are not on your own network.

      Hope something works for you!

  • I wanted to add an update to this post: will also include this info in the post itself:

If anyone is trying to book using one of the mobile apps, Priceline seems to be doing the same thing they did with the last set of drops: on mobile apps you will see the Caribbean Beach deals in results, but get a “Sorry! No Longer Available!” message when trying to book them.

But, you *can* get to the deals in a desktop browser. Not sure why that would ever be the case, but Priceline is downright weird sometimes.

  • Do you know if these rooms have the 5th sleeper available if booked through Priceline? Thank you for scouting out all the deals!

    • I get asked regularly about booking Priceline Express hidden rooms when you have to sleep 5, and my standard answer is I do not recommend it.

Typically there’s a much smaller number of rooms that can accommodate 5 people and there’s usually no way to tell if the block of hidden rooms includes them.

The exception to that rule, of course is when the hidden deal actually tells you the room/bed configuration – sometimes when AoA suites show up they specifically state the various beds and give it away. In that instance I might go for it, but I’d be sure to screen capture all of the pre- and post-booking screens just in case something is amiss.

In these November CBR deals, it just says “Room with Standard View” which I think is a good clue they are not going to be 5th sleepers.

But, of course I had to dig a little deeper and did notice one clue in the page code that makes me think they are actually the Pirate Rooms (which are 2 double beds, sleep 4.) I could be wrong, but at least in the one day I just checked, I don’t think I am.

      Hope that helps!
