Sanaa Bread Plate: The Gift that Keeps on Giving

When this item first became available, I knew that I wanted to have one. I’m a huge fan of the breads and sauces that you can get at Sanaa. I mean, doesn’t this just make your mouth water?

So when I heard that you could get a Sanaa bread plate from Johari Treasures, the gift shop at Animal Kingdom Lodge–Kidani Village, I may have dropped a variety of not-so-subtle hints to my husband that I’d love for him to pick it up. The bread plate isn’t exactly what is used at Sanaa, but a more practical version, complete with hammered metal cups for the dips and grooves on the side to help carry the plate. The price is $79 for the complete set.

On one side of the plate, you can put out the full set of nine cups, but bread would need to be put on another plate.

On the other side of the plate, you can put three cups for dip and still have room for bread.

But the real reason I absolutely knew I wanted this–it comes with the recipe cards on Sanaa so you can make your own naan and dips at home!
