Photos: New Earl of Sandwich Opens in Downtown Disney

Earl of Sandwich in Disneyland Resort‘s Downtown Disney has a new permanent home that recently celebrated its grand opening. In this post we’ll take a look at this new location and some of its offerings. The new location is located on the west side of Downtown Disney, near Din Tai Fung, Star Wars Trading Post, and Disneyland Hotel. The bottom level of the new building houses Earl of Sandwich, while the top level is a new restaurant from the same company that owns Earl. Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby will open at a later date.

Plenty of space in the new location’s entryway. Earl of Sandwich no longer has to deal with a cramped former bookstore, shuttered bakery cafe, or a temporary trailer. This location is built from the ground up for Earl of Sandwich.

The new location has the same configuration where you order at one register near the entrance, and then pick up your food at another location. There is also plenty of fresh baked cookies, brownies and other treats are available at the register. Earl’s sandwiches are still a good value compared to other quick service dining locations in Disneyland Resort, with sandwiches being around $10.

The dining area has an open view into the kitchen. There’s much more space for employees compared to the previous locations.

There’s a small bar with wine and beer next to the pick-up counter.

An outdoor patio with tables and chairs is also available.

Earl of Sandwich is right next to a wonderful outdoor space with tables and grass. Live bands perform in this area on many nights.

Earl of Sandwich still has a great selection of sandwiches. My personal favorite is The Full Montagu.

Earl of Sandwich is also a good option for breakfast. This breakfast sandwich with three pieces of sausage, egg, and cheese was $10.99.
