STRAWBERRY Dole Whip Shines in Redd’s Revenge

While Dole Whip was once synonymous with “pineapple,” other fruity flavors of Dole Whip are now popping up at Walt Disney World. We’ve seen lemon and lime served at Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and now there’s Strawberry Dole Whip at Sunshine Tree Terrace at the Magic Kingdom.

You can get the strawberry Dole Whip in a cone or cup (yum!), but it becomes a true star when featured in the Redd’s Revenge float, an homage to Redd, the feisty female pirate in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Redd’s Revenge costs $6.99, plus tax, or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. It includes the strawberry Dole Whip, Fanta strawberry soda, and a piece of chocolate shaped like a pirate hat. It’s in the same soda/ice cream genre as a root beer float or a creamsicle, but with a refreshing berry vibe. We loved this new addition to the Dole Whip family – so refreshing on a hot summer day in Florida. We hope this sticks around.
