Sugar Painting Candy is Back in EPCOT!
Sugar Painting is back in the China Pavilion of EPCOT!

The traditional (and sweet) art of painting with molten sugar has reappeared in the back of House of Good Fortune.

There are three pricing tiers with a total of 12 design choices. Annual Passholder Discounts apply.

House of Good Fortune is open from 9:00am – 9:00pm daily, but the Sugar Painting Candy kiosk is open from 10:30am – 7:00pm with breaks and lunch intermittently.

You’ll receive your candy painting in a plastic bag like the display pictured above.

We got the dragon, above, and managed to keep it unbroken for several minutes! There are no color or flavor choices so everything tastes like, well, sugar. But truly beautiful sugar! We paid $23.96 for the dragon after our AP discount.

Our panda was $8.63 after our AP discount.
These delicate sugar paintings probably aren’t going to make it beyond the Germany pavilion in one piece, so we wouldn’t plan to bring one home as a souvenir. Consider this a really lovely, albeit fleeting, treat. We’re just happy they’re back!
What do you think? Are these Sugar Painting Candies worth your vacation dollars? If so, let us know which design you’d pick!
