Just stayed at Wilderness Lodge in September. I loved this hotel, as did my parents and 6 year old daughter. Barely noticed the construction, and probably only did because of reading about it before hand. Loved the boat transportation to MK. I want to try another hotel on our next visit but I feel like it’s going to be hard to compare. Highly recommend!
I understand that the normal method to reaching MK is via boat and there’s bus transportation to other parks and they’ll use a bus to reach MK if there’s a thunderstorm. Is there a bus that runs to MK during normal operations or is that bus only offered if there’s a thunderstorm? Thanks!

Melissa,
I’m so happy you enjoyed your stay. Being amongst such beautiful surroundings, I find it easy to relax and take in the tranquil atmosphere.
I hope you find your next resort to be as wonderful as Wilderness Lodge, and thank you for your comment!

Crystal,
I did some further research and it looks like you can take the bus to MK during normal operations as well as by boat.
Hope that answered your question and thanks for watching!
