Toy Story Mania to See Closure as Toy Story Land Nears Completion

With the approaching debut of Toy Story Land, Toy Story Mania at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will, unfortunately, need to have a brief closure. As construction on the ride’s new entrance and queue continues, Toy Story Mania will not be available for Guests to experience from June 11 to 18. When the attraction reopens, Guests will continue to enter and exit the attraction on Pixar Avenue until Toy Story Land opens.

Currently, the attraction is operating at minimal capacity, but all three tracks of this popular attraction will return to full operation on Sunday, May 20. In addition, FastPass+ will once again be available for Guests.

Toy Story Land will officially debut on June 30 and will include Toy Story Mania, Slinky Dog Dash, and Alien Swirling Saucers.

  • Hm, planning to be there on June 18th. So now Hollywood studios will be down to practically 3 rides?

Thanks for this heads up. I researched the closed ride schedule, but this wasn’t on the radar.

  • Any word of passholder or DVC previews or is it too late for that?

  • What the effect on crowd size and lines for other attractions be on those days?
