So you want to go to Universal Orlando, you say?

This week, you say?

Well you’re in the right place!! Each week, I’ll have the most important things you need to know, all in one place, to help you make the most of your time and have the most epic day ever!

Weekly Crowd Level

Overall, crowds will be pretty consistently summer-dense throughout the week. Do I hear a Sunday Funday calling??

Weekly Weather Report

It’s summertime in central Florida! You know the routine….scattered thunderstorms, they come and they go! *Disclaimer: though my name rhymes with weather, I am not in fact a meteorologist. So arm your smartphone with your favorite weather app (Dark Sky is my personal favorite) and check the forecast before you go!

Weekly Park Hours and Admission

If you are a night owl, CityWalk has you covered until 2am every day!

Summer also means peak pricing for seasonally priced tickets, and every day this week will be a peak price day. One-day base tickets to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure will run you $124 per adult, and $119 per child (plus tax). Keep in mind….if you want to ride the Hogwarts Express, you will need a park-to-park ticket! 2-Park 1-Day tickets are $179 per adult and $174 per child (plus tax). If you are really ambitious and want to hit all three parks in the same day, those tickets will cost you $219 per adult and $214 per child (plus tax).

Notable Highlights

Saturday will be the day of choice if you are looking to hit up the nighttime shows; Universal’s Superstar Parade will be at 7pm, and Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular – 100 Years of Movie Memories will be at 9:45pm.

There are no planned closures or refurbishments scheduled for this week.

And of course, we’ve got even more details on everything Universal Orlando waiting for you. Check it out!

See you next week!!

  • I have never used the app Dark Sky to check the weather. Thanks for the tip!
