Walt Disney World Announces New Activities for 2019

If you have a trip scheduled to Walt Disney World in 2019, you will have a number of new and limited time experiences you can potential participate in, starting January 18, 2019.

 

Magic Kingdom

Here, Guests will be able to enjoy Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration.

There will be A new “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” that will take place and it will invite you to dance with Mickey, Minnie and their pals in front of Cinderella Castle. There will also be live singers belting out new arrangements of classic “Mickey Mouse Club” songs.

In addition, the Dapper Dans will perform songs in honor of Mickey and Minnie on Main Street, U.S.A. If you are looking for special Mickey- and Minnie-themed merchandise and food, they’ll have that too. Oh, and since this is a Surprise Celebration, we can expect more Limited-Time Magic entertainment to pop up occasionally.

 

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The Incredibles are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Pixar Place will soon transform into a Metroville city block. At the end of the block, guests will find a party that will be held in honor of Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, and Frozone. You’ll also be able to meet the Edna Mode in a special location on Pixar Place. Also on Pixar Place, you’ll want to be on the look out for clues to the whereabouts of Jack-Jack.

Moving over to Walt Disney Presents, you’ll have a chance to meet Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc.

 

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of “The Lion King” along with Timon and Rafiki in the “Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party” on Discovery Island. Guests will also have fun posing in front of special three-dimensional photo opportunities re-creating scenes from the film.

    • Phillip, thanks for bringing this to my attention. It’s been fixed. I was trying to be diligent and write this as I’m getting ready to sail on the Disney Magic. Let me tell you…it’s not easy trying to write a blog post on a phone with spotty internet! 😉
