World of Color picnics, beer and wine by-the-glass

Pre-order a pricey Sonoma Terrace boxed lunch or dinner, and you get access to a reserved viewing area for the evening's World of Color nighttime water spectacular. You may order these picnic meals in advance by calling (714) 781-DINE, but it costs $1 extra to do this. Alternatively, you can drop-by the Sonoma Terrace (at the Golden Vine Winery building) to see if there is any same-day availability.

Also note that you still need to arrive at World of Color early: positioning within the reserved area is first-come, first-served.
