Couldn’t get enough of the Jungle Cruise next door and you’re starving? Exit the park and head to the Rainforest Cafe, a lush tropical experience that attracts a few thousand of your fellow diners on a daily basis. Take a safari through the winding sections of greenery, faux wildlife, and piped-in jungle sounds, and wade through a menu as large as the Orinoco Basin.

House Specialties

Stick to the basics: burgers, simple sandwiches, and salads. The Jungle Chopped Salad—a huge mix of romaine and iceberg greens, olives, cucumbers, cranberries, candied pecans, red cabbage, carrots, crumbled blue cheese, and grilled chicken in a raspberry vinaigrette—is arguably the best one on the menu.

Other Recommendations

The Mojo Bones (barbecued baby back ribs) are tasty; the Volcano chocolate dessert (complete with sparkler top) is gargantuan but irresistible. the sandwich wraps are also recommended.

Summary

If the Adventureland experience just doesn't satisfy your lust for all things green, moist, and lush, this is the place for you. the menu is massive (maybe a little too large) and mostly palatable, but none of it is truly great. they do make up in quantity for any lack of quality; plates are enough for two in most circumstances. Children love the rain forest theme, and you can count on any number of the chain’s signature animal characters to show up during the meal for photo ops and a little interaction with the kiddies. all in all, a bit distracting—but maybe that’s the point.
