Description And Comments
The Astro Orbitor is a visually appealing midway-type ride that serves as a gateway into Tomorrowland. The ride itself involves small rockets that rotate on arms around a central axis that happens to be a moving, space-age sculpture. Be aware that the Astro Orbitor flies higher and faster than Dumbo and that it frightens some small children.
Touring Tips
- Open for Early Entry.
Astro Orbitor is slow to load and expendable on any schedule. If you want to take a preschooler on this ride, place your child in the seat first and then sit down yourself. Children must be 7 years or older to ride by themselves. Note that the loading speed can be slow as molasses.
Astro Orbitor Wait Times
This chart shows you roughly how long you'll wait for Astro Orbitor when you visit on a day with a given Disneyland Crowd Level. The blue bars represent the average "peak" wait time (that is, how long the line will at its busiest). The bottom and top black lines represent the range of peak wait times to expect (for you fellow nerds out there: it's the 5th percentile and 95th percentile of peak wait times). Please note that these are estimates, and for a better forecast for your travel dates, see Astro Orbitor Wait Times.
Special Comments
Not worth the wait.
