A long-standing attraction and a pet project of Walt Disney, Casey Jr. circulates through a landscape of miniature towns, farms, and lakes. There are some stunning bonsai specimens visible from this ride, as well as some of the most manicured landscaping you are ever likely to see.

Touring Tips

This ride covers the same sights as the Storybook Land Canal Boats but does it faster and with less of a wait. Accommodations for adults, however, are less than optimal on this ride, with some passengers having to squeeze into diminutive caged cars (after all, it is a circus train). If you do not have children in your party, you can enjoy the same sights more comfortably by riding the Storybook Land Canal Boats, which also benefits from live narration instead of Casey Jr.’s canned soundtrack.

Contrary to your advice, the Casey Jr. Train and Storybook Land Boats are totally different experiences--if you are 4 or younger. Hey, one is a boat and one is a train! Seems obvious to the mind of a 4-year-old! We did both, and the kids loved both, and we loved it because they loved it.

Casey Jr. Circus Train, even on the most crowded of days, will rarely be longer than a 20 minute wait, and often less than 10. During the middle of the day, the attraction will load more quickly thanks to the addition of a second train.
