Universal Studios Florida in Hollywood, across from Mel's Diner and the Horror Makeup Show.

Standard American-style breakfast. Southwestern BBQ, tacos, and burritos for lunch/dinner.

Modeled after the legendary Hollywood Hotel, home to many silent movie stars and captains of the film industry in the early twentieth century, is a lovely place to dine -- if you can get inside. On select mornings, it's the scene of the Superstar Character Breakfast, which includes a plated breakfast and costumed cartoon friends. See here for details. During peak seasons, Café La Bamba also offers offers a lunch and dinner counter service selection that is far from the norm of your average theme park food of pizza, burgers and chicken nuggets. Mojo roasted chicken, chipotle BBQ ribs, and chimichurri skirt steak are served, along with burritos, tacos, and tostado salads. The meat can be a bit dry, especially the steak, but it is surprisingly well seasoned, and from a culinary culture that is otherwise underrepresented inside Universal's parks.
