What is the Disney Ticket Calculator?
Disney currently offers dozens of different admission options to its theme parks. To simplify this as much as possible, TouringPlans.com offers the Disney Ticket Calculator to help determine the least-expensive ticket options for your specific vacation plans. This service is free and considers all of the generally-available ticket options currently in use, from Disney and major third-party ticket wholesalers.
How do I use the "Advanced Options"?
- No Expiration Answering yes means the unused portion of your tickets will never expire. Answer no, and your tickets will expire 14 days after they are first used. We recommend 'no'; we've heard that less than 15% of admission tickets with unused days are ever re-used at a Disney theme park. The rest are misplaced, discarded, or forgotten. Unless you are absolutely certain you'll be returning to Walt Disney World within the next year, we don't think the additional cost is worth the risk.
- Ticket Delivery Most third-party ticket vendors will ship the tickets directly to you, within two weeks. If your trip is less than two weeks, switch this to 'no'.
- Third Party Vendors Select 'no' if you do not want to buy from a third-party ticket vendor. Disney sells their tickets directly to these vendors, and they are very reputable.
Any other discounts available?
Florida residents are frequently offered steep discounts for admission to most Disney theme parks. These are almost always the best options for Floridians.
Disney offers admission discounts to members of the U.S. armed forces. The rates are better than those available from ticket wholesalers, but not as good as those available to Florida residents.
