2026 Spring Break Crowd Calendar
Maybe your holiday decorations aren’t put away yet, but now is the time to plan if you’re thinking of visiting a theme park over spring break! We’ve made recent updates to our Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Universal Orlando Crowd Calendars and apps to help make your planning more efficient. Below is a quick tutorial on our 12-month rolling Crowd Calendar that you can find on our app or website.

The Crowd Calendar reflects our ride wait time forecasts in each park – down to the ride! The crowd level does not correspond to the number of folks in a park. This is why you may see a lower crowd level number on a very busy EPCOT festival opening day. The walkways and outdoor kitchens may be packed, but the ride wait times may not be high.
The 3rd image above shows the overall crowd level we’re forecasting for each day in March of this year – the official start of spring break even though Easter isn’t until April 5th. The number listed for each day is the Overall Park Crowd Level we’re expecting.

If you click on a day, March 1st in this case, you can see our forecasts by park for that day – just like the 1st image above. EPCOT is a 5 that day but Hollywood Studios is an 8, Animal Kingdom is a 6, and the Magic Kingdom’s 7 makes the overall crowd level forecast a 7. TouringPlans Subscribers have access to this level of detail for a rolling 12-month calendar.
When you select “See all details” in red in the first image, you’ll be able to see park details as shown in the 2nd image above. You’ll be able to find park hours, early entry, parade and fireworks times, and any special events happening in that park on that day.
When you’re ready to decide if Lightning Lane is worth your money, you can scroll down and get ride wait time forecasts – see the 3rd image above. If you decide to purchase Lightning Lanes, use the Lightning Lane Return Time chart on our website.
There are currently 11 Disney World discounts or offers, all of which we have seen in some form in the past. We will only make updates to our WDW crowd calendar when a new offer doesn’t fit previous discount criteria.
You’ll find the same crowd calendar and ride information on our Universal Orlando and Disneyland apps, too.

Epic Universe opened in May of 2025 and we spent the next several months trying to understand ride capacity, crowd levels, and downtime. The outrageously inflated posted wait times presented challenges to accurate expected waits on our end, too. Universal seems to have a handle on the really wild downtime numbers we saw during the summer of last year and that’s helping our crowd calendar predictions for Epic Universe – hence the updates. We spent a good chunk of last summer testing early entry and waiting for hours and hours in line to get get actual wait times. The upside to the literal days in line is we discovered that Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry is officially an early theme park entry attraction, but anyone can get on early if you rope drop the right way! If you’re headed to Epic Universe soon, download our app and then read How Not to Wait 254 Minutes for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry.

We’ve been busy making adjustments to our wait time models and are so proud of the progress we’ve been making in Walt Disney World. Our expected waits (also on our app) are more accurate than Disney’s posted waits 71% of the time OVERALL in the Magic Kingdom for the month of December 2025. You can see more stats and read about ride wait times here.
Recent updates to our Disneyland Resort crowd calendar were made, too. We knew from similar offers in the past that the current Costco offer for Disneyland would impact crowds. You can read more about this offer here.
This spring is looking like a busy time in Walt Disney World – even beyond the normal spring break crowds. Disney has announced the reopening of Big Thunder Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin in the Magic Kingdom for spring of this year. EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival kicks off March 5, 2026. Frozen Ever After in the Norway Pavilion of EPCOT closes January 20th and is set to reopen sometime in February with facial enhancements – just in time for spring. Finally, our crowd calendar has been updated to reflect the After Hours events in the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT that begin in a few weeks and run into late summer.

You can find all of our Lines apps in the app store for iPhone or Google Play for Android.
