Disney’s Animal Kingdom Introduces Limited Time Tasting Sampler

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is introducing a new way for Guests to be able to experience some of the yummy dishes at the park and have preferred seating for the park’s nighttime show, Rivers of Light.

The Tasting Sampler will give Guests a $35 pre-loaded digital gift card. This gift card will contain a bar code that can be added to your digital wallet and can be scanned at over 40 outdoor carts and kiosks throughout the park. You can then enjoy a delicious variety of savory and sweet plates and even specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages of your choosing. The best thing is that the cost of this Tasting Sampler is only $30!

So, what kind of dishes and beverages can you get with the Tasting Sampler? There will be some brand new offerings such as Shrimp Curry and Chicken Curry Bowls at Kusafiri Bakery, House-smoked Pastrami Sliders at Smiling Crocodile, Buffalo Chicken Chips at Trilo-Bites, Pulled Pork or Shrimp Mac and Cheese plates at Eight Spoon Cafe, Korean Fiery Beef Sliders and Tuna Bao at Caravan Road, and more!

Guests will also be able to choose some of the park’s regular offerings such as popcorn, glazed nuts, craft beer, and ice cream to name a few. Or choose a Dole Whip Float at Tamu Tamu, Pineapple Lumpia at Pongu Pongu, a Chili Cheese Dog at Dino Diner or Seasoned Fries at Mister Kamal’s. Guests will be able pick up a map of options at either Creature Comforts or Isle of Java.

The Tasting Sampler can only be used from December 22 to January 2. The package also includes preferred seating for one person per gift card for the second showing of “Rivers of Light” on the night that you select during that timeframe.

The digital gift card may only be used for food and beverage purchases at select carts and kiosks throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom from 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. It cannot be used at quick-service or table-service restaurants and cannot be reloaded at any time. A limited number of Tasting Samplers will be available for each day.
