Fall 2022 Dates to Remember at Walt Disney World

We have put away our white shoes and started the season of Pumpkin Spice Everything. It’s fall at Walt Disney World. Here are some dates to keep in mind for the next few months.

9/20/2022 – Pooh and Friends Return to Crystal Palace

Character dining has been returning to buffets around Walt Disney World. We weren’t too happy with Crystal Palace without characters, but Pooh and Friends are returning for lunch and dinner September 20. We have a reservation (thanks to the TouringPlans Reservation finder) and will have a review soon. Character dining fills up quickly, so if this experience is on your list for the fall, make your reservation now.

Breakfast service returns to Crystal Palace October 25. More info about those reservations will be available September 22, 2022.

Crystal Palace pricing is $59.99 per adult and $35 per child (3-9).

9/27/2022 Lilo and Stitch Return to ‘Ohana for Breakfast

We were happier with ‘Ohana breakfast after it reopened than we were with Crystal Palace (and who can forget the noodle drama?), and now we are happy to say The Lilo and Stitch will be back for breakfast September 27, 2022 (dinner is not character meal).

Breakfast prices are $34.99 per adult and $15 per child (3-9). Dinner prices are $59.99 per adult and $35 per child (3-9).

10/1/2022 Halloween Seasonal Treats are Here (Including the Donald Duck Candy Corn Sipper)

Fall is here and Halloween is right around the corner, meaning seasonal treats are on their way! On October 1st, your favorite Halloween treats will be available at all parks. Disney has hedged their bets on the Donald Duck Candy Corn Sipper saying it’s coming soon, but look for it as the other treats are released. It’s cute and collectible so expect a lot of guest excitement for being among the first to snag one of these sippers.

11/1/2022 Halloween is OUT! Christmas in IN!

OK, it’s not that quick, but Disney makes the transition from Fall and Halloween to Winter and Christmas as soon as the last Halloween party ends. Look for the Magic Kingdom to move the most quickly as it gets ready for the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party a mere 8 days after the final Halloween party. The other theme parks and the resorts will begin their Christmas decorating this month, so be on the lookout for dates for the Grand Floridian gingerbread house and other resort festivities.

11/8 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Season Begins

Eight days after Halloween and 16 days before Thanksgiving it’s time for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. This year’s dates are  November 8 to  December 22 , 2022.

11/19/2022 – Last Day of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival 2022

Treat yourself to Epcot festival food before November 19, or you will have to wait six whole days before the next festival begins.

11/25/2022 – EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Begins

In addition to the Holiday Kitchens (food kiosks) and a Holiday Cookie Stroll through World Showcase, this is the time for the very popular Candlelight Processional. Dates and narrators have not been announced yet, but it should begin immediately after Thanksgiving and end December 30.

The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays has special food and events. It is a tribute to all holidays, but mostly Christmas.

??? Fantasmic Returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The beloved Fantasmic show is finally returning to Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Although the official date is unknown, our sources indicate this show could be on the schedule in early October. Fantasmic is a nighttime show featuring a live performance along the storyline of Mickey Mouse having a dream that he is a sorcerer’s apprentice. This 25-minute show is packed with lights, special effects, pyrotechnics, water animation, classic Disney characters, and more. We are very excited about the return of Fantasmic and look forward to the official return date being announced.
