Late Arrival Testing in Hollywood Studios

We completed Late Arrival Testing in the Magic Kingdom last week, and struck out for Hollywood Studios this week to do the same. Our tester arrived at Hollywood Studios around 9:00am, just as the park opened and Early Entry ended. Scroll on to see posted vs. actual wait times, and the issues we tracked with Runaway Railway downtime and inaccurate posted waits.

We did not purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP) for our testing day. LLMP was $27 per person plus tax = $28.76.

*Runaway Railway did have 17% downtime on our testing day, but it was also showing incorrectly low posted wait times from around 11am to noon. Our tester arrived at 11:19am when the posted wait was showing 45 minutes and her actual wait was 61 minutes. We collected 3 actual wait times during the 11 o’clock hour showing the same issue.

We will test the same rides with the addition of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets once the initial crowds taper off.
