Wait Times During the First Mickey’s Not-So-Scary

The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is done, and we’ve got some ride wait times for you to check out. We captured Disney’s posted waits for all attractions every 30 minutes from 4:00pm, when Not-So-Scary guests are allowed into the Magic Kingdom, until 11:55pm, minutes before the party ends. These wait times are just for the first party on August 7, 2026, but we will continue to track waits as the parties continue.

In this post, we will show you: 

• The first time each attraction hit the lowest posted wait of the night
• The highest posted wait for each attraction
• Corresponding entertainment times. For example, you’ll see a huge posted wait time dip during the 10:00pm hour when fireworks are taking place

Notes:

Posted waits were not available between 6:30pm and 7:00pm, the official Party start time. Hence, that block is missing from the tracking below.

A 13 minute posted wait for Haunted Mansion translates to a 10 minute posted wait in spirit terms.

Wait Times

The tables below show wait times for 10 rides throughout the night of the first party:

These are not the only attractions available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary, they’re just the 10 we decided to highlight. Other attractions open during this party include:

• Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid

4:00pm to 6:00pm

What’s Happening from 4:00 to 6:00pm

• 4:00pm Mickey’s Not-So-Scary guests admitted to the Magic Kingdom
• Market Street Welcome opens, guests receive their treat bag (standard or allergy) and first treat
• Wristband distribution locations inside the park open
• Jack and Sally meet and greet opens to Not-So-Scary guests with party wristbands
• 6:00pm the Magic Kingdom closes to day guests without Mickey’s Not-So-Scary tickets. Day guests will not be able to ride attractions or order food without a wristband starting at 6:00pm.
• Some Party Exclusive food is sold in person. The Mobile Order system is down for everyone until the party begins at 7:00pm.

7:00pm to 9:30pm

• 7:00pm the Party officially begins! We’re going to detail entertainment below, but you can read the full Guide here. 
  • Party Exclusive food is available everywhere
  • All Character meets are open
  • Trick-or-Treat locations are open
  • Both Allergy Request locations are open
  • Dance Parties begin
  • Cadaver Dans begin performing in Frontierland
  • Captain Jack’s Buccaneer Bash begins
• 8:15pm Headless Horseman begins his ride. Starting in Frontierland and ending on Main Street. The full Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade follows a few moments later. We noticed that the Headless Horseman began his ride later than usual. In the past, he would start a few moments before the official parade start time. During both parades at the first party, he started right at the parade start time, 8:15pm and 11:15pm. It’s also worth noting that he stopped more often and waved his head around. The whole thing was very dramatic and even cooler than in years past!
• 9:15pm Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular on the Cinderella Main Stage. An additional 7:35pm show will run during parties October 1st to Halloween.

10:00pm to 11:55pm

• 10:00pm Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks
  • Families with small children typically leave in droves after the fireworks are over. Note the dip in wait times at 10:00pm! TRON was at a 30 minute posted wait. Although they aren’t shown on the My Disney Experience app, we did note a 30 minute posted wait to meet Jack & Sally just after the fireworks began.
• 10:35pm Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular on the Cinderella Main Stage.
• 11:15pm Headless Horseman begins his second and final ride of the night. The full Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade follows a few moments later following the same Frontierland to Main Street path.
• 12:00am, Midnight Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular on the Cinderella Main Stage.
