Amorette’s Patisserie to Open at Disney Springs on May 15
If you’re looking for a dessert that is almost too pretty to eat (I said ALMOST), then beginning May 15, you will want to stop at the Town Center in Disney Springs to try Amorette’s Patisserie. The new pastry shop will feature delectable goodies from classic and contemporary cakes and pastries, to macaroons, to blondies, to eclairs, and more. There will be multiple delicious items on hand to tantalize your sweet tooth.
Menu items will include macarons; pavlova; chocolate-chocolate chunk cookie; eclairs; New York-style cheesecake; opera cake; sacher torte; peanut blondie with bacon, banana and chocolate; strawberry mousse with basil sugar and lemon curd; and Amorette’s Signature Cake featuring 10 layers of delectable flavors and textures.
Guests will be able to enjoy many different beverage options as well, including Champagne; sparkling wine; Amorette’s Hot Chocolate Ganache, a cupful of sippable chocolate with Chantilly and shaved dark chocolate on top; milk, coffee or tea.
The story behind the bakery, according to Disney is that Amorette’s Patisserie was established as one of the first shops in Town Center (circa 1900s) and it was passed down through the generations. The patisserie is currently owned by artistic sisters Kara and Sara, where they pour great care into designing and creating the most unique and artistic pastries.
Guests will be able to pre-order Amorette’s Patisserie cakes by calling 407-934-3500 beginning on May 22. They must give 72 business hours advance notice in order to pre-order.
As far as the rest of Disney Springs goes, it was recently announced that some shops and restaurants would also be opening on May 15, however, additional locations will be opening through July 1.
This will surely be a must stop for many on their Disney Springs experience in the near future. I know for certain it will be one for me!
Will it be a “Cafe” type of place where you can order a few goodies, and sit down to eat them, or is it a “Buy & take” type of place?
“Deductible goodies”………I gotta know how that works! 🙂
Maybe it means the calories don’t count?
Uh….darn you auto correct? Lol!
