Candlelight Processional Dining Packages Now on Sale for 2018

It is time! You can now book Candlelight Processional dining packages!

So what exactly is Candlelight Processional? It’s an incredible and moving show that takes place during the holiday season in the America Gardens Theatre at Epcot. The Candlelight Processional includes a mass choir, an orchestra, as well as a celebrity narrator, who perform a re-telling of the Christmas Story. While standby options are available, the best way to ensure that you get to see this extremely popular show, is by booking a dining package.

This year’s Candlelight Processional takes place from November 22 through December 30. Show times are at 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m. nightly.

The full celebrity narrator list hasn’t fully been announced for this year, but we do have the start of a partial list. Guests can expect to see:

  • Whoopi Goldberg – December 7 to 9

Candlelight Processional Dining Packages are offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can choose from the following restaurants:

The dining package includes both your meal with beverage and a guaranteed seat for one showing of the Candlelight Processional.  Availability is limited and theme park admission is required, however it is not included in the price of the dining package.

For guests who do not wish to book the Candlelight Processional Dining Package, a standby line will be available for the show. Do keep in mind that the only way to guarantee a seat is by booking the package.

    Standard disclaimer for those who’ve never seen Candlelight before and may have glossed over the text to get to the celebrities and prices: when they say Candlelight is a “a re-telling of the Christmas Story,” that very much means Mary & Joseph, the manger, baby Jesus, the wise men, etc.

    If you’re someone who would not enjoy attending a Christmas Eve church service, then Candlelight may not be the best use of your vacation time and dollars. You can always do some youtube research if you’re on the fence.

    Somehow I think $560 for dinner at the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room, might not be right…
