Princesses Are Back! – Character Dining Returns to Cinderella’s Royal Table February 28

Hello patiently waiting friends! Disney has announced that starting on February 28, 2023, princesses will once again circulate during your meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table. In a little over a week, you’ll be able to reserve these meals with princesses – or even sooner if you’re staying on site.

Meeting Aurora at Cinderella’s Royal Table

Fairytale Dining is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is $45 per adult and $29 per child, lunch and dinner are both $67 per adult and $39 per child. Disney has not announced a price increase, but we expect that there will be one as Disney has consistently discounted character meals when characters were unavailable and raised the price when they return. Unlike many table service meals at Disney World, payment must be made in full when the reservation is made. Discounts for Annual Passholders and qualifying Disney Vacation Club Members are available.

Prior to the closure Fairytale Dining featured Cinderella for a photo op downstairs, with a selection of 3-4 princesses upstairs during the meal. These princesses have included Ariel, Princess Aurora, Snow White, Jasmine and Rapunzel at various times; Disney has not announced what the princess lineup will be when they return in February. Of course, we feel pretty confident to say that it will definitely include Cinderella.

Even without the princesses, we have recent reviews of the meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table from Becky’s and my visits this summer: A Meal in a Castle – Without Princesses. And we’re pleased to see that princess dining is continuing to return to Disney World after the reopening of Akershus in EPCOT earlier this year. If you’re trying to decide between the two, you can read about our experience with Akershus as well: Princess Dining Returns to Norway’s Akershus at EPCOT.
