Exciting news for Disney Vacation Club members (or those looking to become members.) Disney’s newest DVC resort, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will open on July 17! Sales for the latest resort in the DVC category will begin on March 8 for current Disney Vacation Club Members with general sales following on April 5. Guests looking to book stays in these new rooms at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be able to do so beginning March 21.
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will feature the comforts of home and the wonders of the wilderness. The resort area has been inspired by the legendary mining and railroad history of the Pacific Northwest. Resort rooms will include rustic elegance, cozy touches, and modern designs.
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will include deluxe studios, one and two bedroom villas, as well as three-bedroom Grand Villas that will sleep up to 12. Each unit will include a well-appointed kitchen, expanded storage space and private patios or balconies.
Take a peek at what you’ll be able to experience with the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins:
Studios will sleeps up to 4 Guests, with a queen-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. There is also a convenient kitchenette, a bathroom with either a full-size tub/shower combo, or a walk-in rain shower, and a flat-panel wall-mounted TV in the bedroom/living area.
One-Bedroom Villas will sleep up to 4 Guests, and will include a king-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. The Two-Bedroom Villas will sleep up to 8, and will include a king-size bed, 2 queen-size beds and a queen-size sleeper sofa. Both One and Two Bedroom Villas will feature a fully equipped kitchen, stacked washer and dryer and a sleek bubble-jet tub. The 3-Bedroom Grand Villas can accommodate up to 12 Guests with a king-size bed, 4 queen-size beds and one queen-size sleeper sofa. Additional amenities include a washer and dryer and a master bathroom fitted with a bubble-jet tub and an in-mirror TV.
Oh and that’s not all! Remember how I keep mentioning cabins. The resort will include 26 all-new luxurious waterfront cabins. These can sleep up to eight Guests and feature two bedrooms, two baths and large dining and living room spaces. The cabins will have floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed wooden beams and interior-exterior stone-hearth fireplace. Cabins will be equipped with a washer and dryer and open-style kitchen. The best part, cabins will include screened-in wraparound porches with a built-in hot tub.
Guests staying at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins (and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge) will also be able to enjoy the recently opened Geyser Point Bar & Grill which offers picturesque views of Bay Lake. This restaurant offers both quick service dining options, as well as beverages and small plates. Roaring Fork, the resort’s original quick-service restaurant, will reopen later this year with a refreshed look and expanded outdoor seating.
Later this summer, Guests can enjoy the new Boulder Ridge Cove Pool, which is a part of of the Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. (The current Disney Vacation Club accommodations on property.) Boulder Ridge Cove Pool will be a modern-day swimmin’ hole that features a zero-depth entry. Guests will also be able to enjoy Copper Creek Springs Pool which includes a 67-foot water slide built into rocks and hot and cold whirlpool spas. There’s also an aquatic play area for children.
Also new will be the Salon by the Springs (formerly Trout Pass Pool Bar). Here Guests will be able to participate in pool-side manicures, pedicures and hair services. Salon by the Springs is scheduled to open this summer.
Copper Creek Villas and Cabins will be the 14th Disney Vacation Club development and the second at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
