Price increases have hit another corner of the Disney theme park experience – the ear headband. As recently as early 2018, these iconic souvenirs were priced at $24.99 for most models. During the fall of 2018, the price for most ear headbands was raised to $27.99. There has been another bump up this week, with most ear headbands now priced at $29.99. This applies to all the U.S. Disney theme parks, the Disney Cruise Line ships, and shopDisney.com.

It’s a $5.00 price hike in just over a year, for the exact same items.

  • It’s one item we don’t buy, I make all ours.

  • Where are these and other souvenirs made? Are they made overseas and the recent rise in tariffs are being passed on to the consumer?

    • I just looked at several of these items I have in my home and all the tags do say “Made in China.” I don’t know that the price hike is directly related to tariffs, but that’s certainly a possibility.
