Disney Raises Ear Headband Prices
Price increases have hit another corner of the Disney theme park experience – the ear headband. As recently as early 2018, these iconic souvenirs were priced at $24.99 for most models. During the fall of 2018, the price for most ear headbands was raised to $27.99. There has been another bump up this week, with most ear headbands now priced at $29.99. This applies to all the U.S. Disney theme parks, the Disney Cruise Line ships, and shopDisney.com.
It’s a $5.00 price hike in just over a year, for the exact same items.

What to you think? Well, actually, we know what you think because we think that too. Feel free to sound off!
Yet another reason we are giving Universal a try. Disney is getting too expensive for us.
It’s one item we don’t buy, I make all ours.
Where are these and other souvenirs made? Are they made overseas and the recent rise in tariffs are being passed on to the consumer?
I just looked at several of these items I have in my home and all the tags do say “Made in China.” I don’t know that the price hike is directly related to tariffs, but that’s certainly a possibility.
