Guide to the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

Everyone needs to eat, and Disney World’s Food & Wine celebrates delicious food from all over the world. The 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs from August 28 to November 22, 2025. What’s returning? What’s new? What can you do? Whether it’s your first trip to Disney World or just your first trip to the Festival, everything you need to know about this event is below.

There are food stalls at every EPCOT Festival, but this is the only event that has food literally in the name. So it should not surprise you that at Food & Wine, snacking from the Global Marketplaces is the thing to do. There are free activities, and Festival access comes with your park ticket. But if you’re visiting Food & Wine, you should plan to spend some money on food from the Global Marketplaces.

Weekdays are the best time to visit the Food & Wine Festival, as locals drive up attendance on the weekends. The Global Marketplaces open at 11 a.m. daily and tend to be busiest in the evening. But in September and October, longer food lines may be more pleasant than an afternoon visit.

Early in the event, heat and humidity will still be summer-like, and working your way around the booths is a largely outdoor activity. Plus, many of the menu items are fall-coded. Wine-Braised Beef Short Rib might conjure cozy images of sweaters and chilly days, but in Orlando, the weather could be a ‘feels-like’ 97 degrees.

Global Marketplace Booths

The Food & Wine Festival has more booths, covering more of the park, than any other EPCOT Festival. This year’s Festival has over 35 Global Marketplaces, dotted around the World Showcase and beyond. Many are named after countries and serve snack-sized portions of that country’s cuisine.

There’s no single ‘right’ way to tackle the spread. Two or three savory items and a dessert are about the same amount as a Quick Service meal for lunch or dinner. Or you can do a dedicated crawl, stopping in multiple locations for a bite or beverage as you make your way around the World Showcase.

Some of our favorite dishes from 2024 are below, and here are last year’s menus: 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Menus. We’ll update as soon as new menus are out, usually about 2 weeks before the Festival launches. But Disney has already confirmed that the Fig & Boursin cheesecake is coming back.

We’ll have reviews once the Festival gets going, including a budget sampler, the best drinks, and more. Tap here to see all of our Global Marketplace coverage, or you can follow along on our Instagram feed and other socials.

Speaking of budgets, you should expect to spend

  • About $6-7 per dish; many are $5, but a few will be closer to $10 or $11.
  • About $20 for ‘1 of each’ from a booth, not including drinks
  • About $6 for beer, or $12-15 for spirited cocktails.

Disney Dining Plan users can pay in Snack Credits for almost every Festival dish. And they’re often a great value for these credits, if they are at least $5. ($6 is the average value of a Snack Credit).

Global Marketplace Tips

➡ Lines will be shorter at lunch than dinner. But even in the evenings, they tend to move quickly, so don’t let a long line scare you off from a tasty booth. If you do find lines are very long, focus on booths where you’ll try everything, as you’ll wait in fewer lines that way.

➡ If you’ve got more than a couple of people, there are a few great spots to sit for a bit. Stake out a table and send emissaries to hunt and gather from several nearby booths at the same time. Try Harvest Hollow (between the Imagination Pavilion and World Showcase), Tangierine Cafe, and the Odyssey. Cool Wash near Test Track and CommuniCore Hall can also be good options for a temporary home base.

➡ Food & Wine dishes are served on small plates and cardboard boats. For getting more than one or two items from more than one or two booths, a cafeteria tray like this one is a game-changer. It takes up almost no space in a suitcase and fits in many backpacks. My family thinks they look uncool, but has grudgingly admitted that they are very handy.

➡ Plant-based and allergy-friendly options are available, and you’ll find allergen menus for the booths in the My Disney Experience app. But the level of cross-contact mitigation available in a full restaurant kitchen can’t be done in the booths. If you have allergies, especially ones that are severe or life-threatening, you should ask to speak with a Special Diets Trained Cast Member about your options at the Food & Wine Festival.

➡ If you’re looking for an app to help track all the yumminess, here’s a review of my favorite: Track Your Eats! An EPCOT Festival App for Your Phone. Make wishlists, plan your budget, and more.

Emile’s Fromage Montage

Do you love to be rewarded for eating? Every Disney Festival has a food stroll, and at Food & Wine you can sample Emile’s Fromage Montage. Try any five of the cheese-themed dishes, and get your Festival Passport stamped when you pay. Once you have all five stamps, bring your passport to Shimmering Sips Marketplace to collect a free treat.

Entertainment, Activities & Family Fun

The focus at Food & Wine is the food and wine. But there are also concerts, scavenger hunts, and even a ride overlay. For kids who want to run off their food, you’ll usually find at least one area set up as a Festival Playground.

EPCOT doesn’t dress up for Food & Wine as much as some other Festivals. But we’re expecting to hear something about a special exhibit at CommuniCore Hall as Disney continues to release information about this year’s event. And you’ll see colorful signage throughout the park; selfies will for sure show that you were there.

Eat to the Beat Concerts

Eat to the Beat Concerts are held nightly in the America Gardens Theater, with three shows daily at 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm, and 8:00 pm. The shows are free and feature 30-minute sets by headliner acts on the weekends, with local artists performing midweek. This year’s lineup isn’t released yet, but we expect to see it in early June.

There is standby seating for every performance, and you can hear the concert well if you’re hanging out in the surrounding area. The view is poor, but the sound is fine from the outdoor seating at Regal Eagle Smokehouse. For the headline acts, you can book a Dining Package that comes with a guaranteed seat. Dining Packages cost a bit more than the price of the same meal if you’re paying out of pocket. But if you pay with Disney Dining Plan credits, there’s no additional charge.

Food & Wine Festival Scavenger Hunts

Two different scavenger hunts are a fun family activity at the Food & Wine Festival. Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit has you looking for – you guessed it! – pumpkins, and for Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, you’ll be seeking out everyone’s favorite rat. The Festival scavenger hunts are an upcharge activity, but they can be a nice way to take a breath and appreciate the details in the park as you search.

Each hunt costs $9.99 for the map, available at select merchandise locations. On completion (or even if you don’t complete it), you’ll receive a small prize. The hunts are “while supplies last”, but they don’t usually run out.

Living with the Land Food & Wine Overlay

Living with the Land gets a few exhibits for each of EPCOT’s Festivals. When you ride, look out for harvest-themed displays and tags showing which booths are using foods you’ll see growing in the greenhouses.

Merch!

Food & Wine has a wide selection of merchandise, and one thing I love about it is that there are plenty of kitchen items. They are both practical and a fun keepsake. But if you just want a T-shirt or a loungefly, never fear – you’ll have plenty of choices.

The 2024 items above are a good sampler of what you’ll see branded as “Food & Wine”. But you’ll also find non-Disney vendors selling both Food and wine-focused items, and general kitchenware.

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Tips

⭐Most Food & Wine activities and entertainment are included with your EPCOT ticket. You’ll need valid park admission and a reservation for EPCOT if your ticket requires one (Date-based tickets do not need park reservations.) But snacking from the Global Marketplaces is a major focus of Food & Wine, and you will need to pay for the food. The scavenger hunts and Eat to the Beat Dining Packages are also upcharge activities. Everything else is free!

⭐ You’ll find a Festival Guide in the My Disney Experience App. But we think it’s easier to grab a Festival Passport as you enter the park. And if you’re doing Emile’s Fromage Montage, you’ll need it.

⭐ Disney sells a Food & Wine wristlet mini gift card during the Food & Wine Festival. It can be a fun keepsake, but it’s also a great way to stay within your budget and pay easily at the booths.

⭐ The TouringPlans Crowd Calendar crowd levels are based on the wait time for rides, so be aware that Festival crowds will likely “feel” higher than those numbers.
