FootGolf Now Available at the Walt Disney World Resort
For the very first time ever, Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort can participate in the sport of FootGolf. Don’t know what FootGolf is? It’s kind of a combination of soccer and golf. With FootGolf, players kick a regulation #5 soccer ball at a golf course facility on shortened length holes with 21-inch diameter cups in as few shots as possible. FootGolf rules are very similar to the rules of golf; there are bunkers, hazards and traditional golf course characteristics that help to improve the challenge of the game.
Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course is offering an 18-Hole FootGolf course which is Certified by the American FootGolf League (AFGL). Par for the course is 69 with a challenging selection of par 3’s, 4’s and 5’s. While traditional golf is played to the blue pin flags at Disney’s Oak Trail course, to make the FootGolf course stand out, the official color of orange.
