Key Disneyland Dates in 2026

2026 is here and we’ve got all the important dates for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure that you need to remember for this year.

January 22, 25, 27 and February 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 17, 2026 at Disneyland: Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite

The popular Sweethearts’ Nite extra-ticket event returns to Disneyland on select nights in January and February. See our Disneyland After Dark party page for more information.

January 23 through February 22, 2026 at Disney California Adventure: Lunar New Year celebration

DCA celebrates Lunar New Year with special meet and greets, Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession, food and drink, and more.

February 22, 2026: Anaheim Ducks Day

This event features appearances by Anaheim Ducks players and the team’s mascot, Wild Wing.

March 3 and 4, 2026: Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites

A new extra-ticket Disneyland After Dark event will take place on two night in March. The party includes dance parties, special character meet and greets, and more. See our Disneyland After Dark party page for more information.

March 6 through April 27, 2026: Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

DCA’s Food & Wine Festival returns with several food booths selling special items made just for the event. There’s also culinary demonstrations, entertainment, and more.

March 22, 2026: Bluey’s Best Day Ever! opens in Disneyland

Australia’s most famous export since Crocodile Dundee comes to Disneyland. Fantasyland Theater is the home of Bluey’s primary school where musical performances and games with the audience are played. There’s also a life-sized Gnome Garden and Fairy Garden to see between scheduled performances.

April 12, 15, and 16: Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite

This event celebrates Disney Channel shows and features special character meet and greets, dance parties, and more. See our Disneyland After Dark party page for more information.

April 28, 2026: Star Wars Season of the Force returns to Disneyland

The seasonal Star Wars-themed celebration is back, along with Space Mountain’s Hyperspace Mountain overlay.

April 28, 30 and May 4, 6: Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite

Extra-ticket Star Wars themed party in Disneyland featuring characters from the films, special food and drink, and entertainment.

May 22, 2026: The Mandalorian and Grogu join Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

A new ride film and mission will be added to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu.

June 1, 2026: Magic Key Summer blockout dates begin

Most Disneyland Magic Keys begin their Summer blockout periods at the beginning of June. The Imagine Key will be blocked June 1 through August 9, while the Enchant Key is blocked June 5 through August 2. See our Magic Key 2026 blockout post for more information and a full list of dates. This causes big crowds before and after these blockouts take place.

June 16 and 18, 2026: Disneyland After Dark Pride Nite

Extra-ticket event celebrating LGBTQIA+. The party includes dance parties, special food and drink, rare characters, and other entertainment.

July 2, 2026: Soarin’ Across America opens in Disney California Adventure

Disney celebrates America’s 250th birthday with a new ride film for Soarin’. The new film will fly over iconic places from all over the country.

August 9, 2026: Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary celebration ends

August, September, and October, 2026: Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party takes place in Disney California Adventure.

DCA’s popular Halloween party returns August: 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 30, September: 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, and October: 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29, 31. See our in-depth full review and party guide post for more information.

August 14, 15, and 16, 2026: D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event

The massive event, formally known as D23 Expo, takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center. D23 features presentations and activations from every part of Disney’s media empire.

August 21 through October 31, 2026: Disneyland Resort’s Halloween Celebration

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure’s yearly Halloween celebration returns. Favorites, such as Haunted Mansion Holiday, a ton of seasonal food and beverage options, special fireworks, and more are a part of the celebration.

November 18 through December 31, 2026: Disneyland Resort’s Holiday Celebration 

Disneyland’s Christmas celebration and Disney California Adventure’s Festival of Holidays return for 2026. Seasonal fireworks, A Christmas Fantasy parade, and “it’s a small world” Holiday are highlights at Disneyland, while DCA features a special World of Color show and several food booths with seasonal food and drink.

December, 2026: Magic Key Christmas and New Year blockout dates begin.

All Magic Keys have various blockout dates during the Christmas and New Year stretch. The Inspire Key is blocked December 21-31. The Believe Key is blocked December 5, 12, 13, 18-31. The Enchant Key is blocked 5, 6, 12, 13, 16-31. The Imagine Key is blocked December 4-6, 11-31. This causes big crowds before and after these blockouts take place as people try to see the park’s holiday offerings before the blockouts, or get back to the park after not being let in for a while.
