Jingle Bell….Jingle BAM! I just love shouting that.

That’s right – the nighttime spectacular during the holiday season at Disney’s Hollywood Studios called Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will be returning once again. The dazzling special effects and fireworks extravaganza will be back beginning November 9 through December 30.

During the show, the façade of the Chinese Theater serves as the main backdrop for this show, which is an immersive experience, that is paired with great musical score including holiday classics with a twist.

The show includes scenes from the ABC special Prep & LandingBeauty and the BeastBambiThe Nightmare Before Christmas, and two of my favorite Disney Christmas stories, Pluto’s Christmas Tree and Mickey’s Christmas Carol. The show will build to a very festive finale and a special message from Santa Claus.

Of course, once again, for those looking to plus the experience, there will be a special dessert party that is being offered nightly. The dessert party will occur in the courtyard of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, and Guests will be able to enjoy multiple food stations, featuring holiday-inspired sweet and savory delights like warm cheese fondue with pretzel bread and flatbread, warm pumpkin pie and spiced-bread pudding with hand-dipped vanilla ice cream. There will also be a Liquid Nitro Station that will include dipped chocolate mousse and choice of toppings.

Beer, wine and specialty cocktails are also available for guests over the age of 21. Specialty non-alcoholic beverages will also available, and of course, there wil be hot cocoa. Guests will also get to mingle with a VIP character during the event.

In addition, each dessert party guest will get a pair of 3D glasses to use while watching the show; the glasses will create spectacular holographic illusions such as gingerbread men and candy canes.

Guests who attend the party will also be able to catch the new pre-show, Disney Movie Magic.

The Dessert Party will occur one hour prior to each performance of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!

From November 9 through December 15, the cost of the Dessert Party is $79 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $45 for children ages 3-9. The price includes tax and gratuity. From December 17 through 31, the cost is $89 adult and $49 child with tax and gratuity included.

  • Hi! Any idea what dates for the 2017 show? We are in WDW from 17-23 Dec and I don’t want to see the JBJB show. Will the Star Wars show still be around, alternating dates maybe? Thanks!

    • Hello Lisa!

The Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! show will be taking place from November 9 through December 30.

As far as I know as of right now, you may be in luck because according to the schedule on the Walt Disney World site, the Star Wars fireworks will be taking place in addition to Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! starting December 15 and running until December 30. Of course, this is subject to change.

      • Thanks!! So if I’m understanding correctly, the JBJB is every night unlike the Happily Ever After vs Christmas fireworks, which alternate? Sorry I seem to have a hard time grasping…..I’ve even had my coffee (:

      • Yes. Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will be taking place every night. The only reason why Happily Ever After splits its time with the Christmas fireworks is because the Christmas fireworks are held on nights when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party occurs. (With a few exceptions the week leading up to Christmas Day.) There are no holiday parties at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, so Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will be the main fireworks spectacular for all nights. Let me know if you still have questions!
