Jingle Bell….Jingle BAM! I just love shouting that.
That’s right – the nighttime spectacular during the holiday season at Disney’s Hollywood Studios called Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will be returning once again. The dazzling special effects and fireworks extravaganza will be back beginning November 9 through December 30.
During the show, the façade of the Chinese Theater serves as the main backdrop for this show, which is an immersive experience, that is paired with great musical score including holiday classics with a twist.
The show includes scenes from the ABC special Prep & Landing, Beauty and the Beast, Bambi, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and two of my favorite Disney Christmas stories, Pluto’s Christmas Tree and Mickey’s Christmas Carol. The show will build to a very festive finale and a special message from Santa Claus.
Of course, once again, for those looking to plus the experience, there will be a special dessert party that is being offered nightly. The dessert party will occur in the courtyard of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, and Guests will be able to enjoy multiple food stations, featuring holiday-inspired sweet and savory delights like warm cheese fondue with pretzel bread and flatbread, warm pumpkin pie and spiced-bread pudding with hand-dipped vanilla ice cream. There will also be a Liquid Nitro Station that will include dipped chocolate mousse and choice of toppings.
Beer, wine and specialty cocktails are also available for guests over the age of 21. Specialty non-alcoholic beverages will also available, and of course, there wil be hot cocoa. Guests will also get to mingle with a VIP character during the event.
In addition, each dessert party guest will get a pair of 3D glasses to use while watching the show; the glasses will create spectacular holographic illusions such as gingerbread men and candy canes.
Guests who attend the party will also be able to catch the new pre-show, Disney Movie Magic.
The Dessert Party will occur one hour prior to each performance of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
