More Info About Phineas and Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure

For those of you who like Kim Possible’s World Showcase Adventure at Epcot, it is sadly going away.  HOWEVER!  That doesn’t mean the game aspect is going away.  Instead, Disney is updating the game with Phineas and Ferb:  Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure and today, some new information was released about how the game is set to work.

The new game, based on the hit Disney Channel Show, Phineas and Ferb, will take guests through Epcot, as they become secret agents helping Agent P (the alter ego of Perry the Platypus) beat Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s evil plots.

Instead of Kimmunicators, like it was with Kim Possible, guests will now use a device called F.O.N.E., otherwise known as Field Operative Notification Equipment to receive clues to help guests solve the cases.  All this is in an effort to help Agent P defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

The adventures will take place in seven of the World Showcase pavilions, including Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Japan, France and the United Kingdom.

Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure is scheduled to close on Friday, May 18th.  The new Phineas and Ferb Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure is set to open in June.

  • Do you know what age range it is targeted for? My oldest is 7, do you think he would enjoy the adventure or would it be above his head?

    • If I had to take a guess, I would say that this would fit for the same age group that enjoyed Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure. So, really, I think it would be fun for kids of all ages (including the adults!)

  • As a former Kim Possible agent, I’m really disappointed to see her leave the parks. But at least we know that the world showcase will be in good hands…or flippers…whatever platypus’ have for hands.

  • My 10 year old son is sooooo disappointed. He is going down with his cousin, and will be in Epcot on May 21st. He wanted to do Kim Possible again, and was so upset when I told him the news. I don’t believe they are closing it 3 days before he’s there.

  • I am just really disappointed that with TT down, they didn’t plan this either before or after the summer season.

  • I liked the Kim Possible show when it was on before DD was born. We didn’t play the KP, but look forward to playing with Agent P. P&F is one of our favorite shows to watch together.

  • What day in June?

    • The exact opening date still hasn’t been released. Will keep you all posted when more information comes out!

      • It will actually open on june 24

  • My three will love this, too! Only one wanted to try KP, but she had fun. This is a really good update that may interest more kids.

  • my kid LOVED kim possible even though he wasn’t familiar with the original show (he is now, thanks to Netflix) but he’s also a HUGE P&F fan. so i’m wondering how different the game will be from the original KP game? looks like they’re using the same infrastructure (same pavilions) so will it be worth it to play again? (not that it’s a problem for him…he was happy to re-play the same KP missions multiple times. i, however, was bored out of my gourd after a few rounds in japan, KWIM?:)

    • There will be a flashbackinator in Mexico and agent p will also come out of a pot there too! He’ll also zip line in France and escape a lamp in uk

  • My kids had no idea who KimPossible was. They are beyond excited about Agent P.’s Worldshow case Adventure! We will be there in a few months to check it out!!
