Save Money on School Portraits — With Disney’s Memory Maker?
If you’re a parent who has ever had to buy school photos, you know that they can be a pricey proposition. But what if you could get your child’s school portraits and your Disney vacation photos all for one price? If you’re planning a trip to Disney Springs, this may be a money-saving tip for you.
Located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, near World of Disney, is Disney’s PhotoPass Studio. In the studio, you can have portraits taken with fun backgrounds, or you can have actual portraits taken as well.
PhotoPass downloads are included for free with Gold, Platinum, or Platinum Plus annual passes. If you don’t have one of those passes, you can purchase Memory Maker digital access starting at $69 for one day’s worth of photos both in the parks and at the PhotoPass studio. If you’re looking to get all your vacation photos over a longer trip, Memory Maker is $199. There are also options for paying for prints as well.
If you have multiple kids, the $69 one-day digital download option works great to get school pictures of your kids for one price instead of paying that much for each child. (Plus parents can also get portraits of themselves, too!) Currently, Disney is also running a deal to extend the $199 Memory Maker package through June 18, 2021 if you purchase by May 19.
Because this is on Disney property, masks are required (as they are for school pictures at many local schools this year), there is hand sanitizer available, and social distancing is enforced. In all, it is a very safe experience to have a portrait session done. Weekends tend to be more crowded than during the week, but overall it is a very quick experience to get the photos done.
And the results? Special thanks to our Junior Researcher Gigi for sharing her PhotoPass Studio results. We think they came out adorable!

Can you make an appointment for the Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs? Or is it just first come, first serve line?
Yes, super adorable! Didn’t realize that this is a PhotoPass location that’s included with an Annual Pass, so thanks!
