Starbucks for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Is On Its Way
It was really the worst kept secret, but Disney made it official when it announced today that the Creature Comforts shop is indeed being converted into Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Starbucks location. Very little details were released, but we did get a nice piece of concept art, which shows that the inside will fit in very well with the theme park’s overall design. (P.S.: those light fixtures are phenomenal! This may actually be my favorite design.)
We currently do not know the what this location will be called, nor do we have an exact official opening date (though rumors persist that it will open sometime in June). We do know this Starbucks location will be like the others and will serve all the drinks the popular chain is known for.
The Disney’s Animal Kingdom Starbucks will be the sixth (and as far as we know, final) Starbucks to open on property. The other locations are:
- Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom
- Fountain View at Epcot
- Downtown Disney West Side, near Bongos Cuban Cafe
- Downtown Disney Marketplace, near World of Disney
- The Trolley Car Cafe at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which one opened this week
Creature Comforts officially closed its doors on January 4. The shop previously sold plush, clothing, and other theme park goodies.
