Universal Translator – What is Child Swap?

Want to wait together as a group at Universal Orlando but not everyone can ride? Use Child Swap!

Like many other Universal thrill rides, VelociCoaster features a family waiting room for Child Swap.

Child Swap (also known as Rider Swap or Rider Switch) is a method for parties with guests who cannot or do not want to, ride a thrill ride together before the ride. Once guests arrive at boarding the party will split with the non-riding guest and guardian waiting in a Family Room area, after the first guest/party rides then the second rides. All attractions with a height requirement have a rider swap area, some are small waiting areas outside the unloading area, and some are elaborate rooms with entertainment. To use Child Swap alert a Team Member at the front of the attraction that you will use Child Swap and they will assist you from there.
