Certainly the best restaurant in Future World, Coral Reef is a great escape from the Florida sun. Grab a souvenir fish guide and check out the 8,000 sea creatures that call this place home— but are probably not on the menu.

Setting and Atmosphere

Though the decor could use a face-lift, you can’t beat the view in this darkened dining room, which faces one of the world’s largest saltwater aquariums; tiered seating gives everyone a pretty good view of the multitude of fishes (and sometimes Mickey in a scuba suit). The ethereal entryway gives the impression that you’re going under the sea; special light fixtures throw ripple patterns on the ceiling.

House Specialties

Creamy lobster soup with tarragon and brandy, on the menu since the restaurant opened; Lobster Mac and Cheese; Grilled New York strip steak; Chocolate Wave dessert. For kids: grilled fish or grilled chicken tenders, pork tenderloin.
