Summary
This is USF’s San Francisco–inspired seafood restaurant, where the emphasis is on deep-fried favorites and daily fresh fish specials. Lombard’s has a more casual focus, and unfortunately, so does the kitchen. The New England clam chowder is a standout, and the lobster roll is loaded with tender tail and knuckle meat, but the tuna poké is oddly salsalike with its tomato-heavy garnish. Stick to the grilled or fried fish, and you should be safe. There are arguably better food options in the park, but as one of only two full-service restaurants inside USF, it’s your best choice for a quiet meal.
With two floors of seating, it’s generally easy to get a table, even during the busier times. Only annual pass holders can request to dine upstairs during select seasons.

Setting and Atmosphere
Situated on the park’s main lagoon, Lombard’s looks like a converted wharf-side warehouse. The centerpiece of the brickwalled room is a huge aquarium with bubble glass windows, and a fish-sculpture fountain greets guests. Private dining rooms upstairs have balconies that overlook the park.
House Specialties
Shrimp cocktail, mahi-mahi tacos, fried fisherman’s basket, lobster roll, filet mignon, and fresh fish.
