New Purse, Backpack, and Bag Make Pin Trading Fun and Fashionable

Just when it seems like the days of pin trading at Walt Disney World had been on the decline, we came across a purse, a backpack, and a messenger bag that are made for mobile pin trading. The first is a black backpack with a clear Mickey Mouse-shaped window on the front and two side pockets. The second resembles a crossbody purse in a Mickey Mouse head shape and denim quilted material. A rose gold-colored zipper and pull add a chic touch. Both bags have nine felt pages for showcasing pins. We found these two at Magic Kingdom before the park closures.

The denim style purse is $39.99 and the black backpack is $49.99. Then we came across a large messenger bag at EPCOT’s MouseGear. It is $49.99 and also has nine pages or display flaps, as well as two interior pockets.

We haven’t seen these online yet, but expect they will be in the parks when the parks reopen.

Are you a pin trader? Do you find bags like these to be helpful?

  • Agreed, Jennifer. Back when I did collect pins I used a similar book / bag. Glad you enjoy sharing your collection with your family. Thanks for reading!

  • Hi Dani! I actually love these! A few days ago I was showing DS9 my old pin collection. For a while we still bought pins to commemorate trips with the boys, resorts we stayed at, etc but I acquired more than I had space on my pin display board and they ended up in a plastic bag in the closet. This would be a gentler way to store them, and easy to look through. DS9 is suddenly taking an interest in trading… maybe they’ll release a smaller version that he might like to carry. I’ve always hated those lanyards. Thanks for the post! I’ll keep my eye out.
