Be Our Guest Restaurant to Test Breakfast Option
Be Our Guest Restaurant has been seeing a lot of changes recently due to its extreme popularity. The first change for the New Fantasyland restaurant was that reservations became available to everyone during the lunchtime hours, and now there’s another addition — the restaurant will begin offering breakfast, as part of a test, beginning March 20. This test will take place daily from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. until June 18. (And I suspect that should this test go well – and let’s be honest, I don’t see why it wouldn’t – that the “end date” will be extended indefinitely.)
Breakfast will be served as a “fast casual,” prix fixe menu. For $19.99 plus tax for adults and $11.99 plus tax for children ages 3-9, guests at this counter service location will be able to enjoy a pastry basket for sharing, followed by a choice of entree and a self-service beverage.
Adults can choose among entree items such as:
- Assorted cured meat and cheese served with marmalade, fresh fruit and a toasted baguette
- Eggs Florentine served in a puff pastry shell with country ham and roasted plum tomatoes
- Open-face bacon-and-poached-egg sandwich
- Scrambled egg whites with roasted tomatoes, multigrain croissant and fresh fruit
- Vegetable quiche with mushroom, zucchini, bell pepper, onion and chive, served with seasonal fruit
- Croissant Doughnut: a fried doughnut topped with banana caramel sauce, chocolate ganache and whipped cream
For kids, options will include choices such as:
- Brioche French toast with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs with Applewood bacon and fresh fruit
- Fruit crepes with yogurt and fresh fruit with a berry foam
- Cereal
- Oatmeal
Guests will not be able to pre-order breakfast choices at this time. In addition, breakfast – like lunch – will offer self-seating; tables are not reserved in advance.
Guests with reservations earlier than park opening will be required to provide a confirmation number at the park entrance.

I agree that the price is steep but I will take it as a QS credit and save a table service for another time. I have Free Dining secured for September after booking it as a bounceback last year. Happy to have this option to enter the park early and only use a QS credit.
I also feel $20 is a bit much for counter service breakfast, but I’m sure it will be insanely popular. I am happy to see some vegetarian breakfast options. The charcuterie board for breakfast is an idea I haven’t seen before.
Reserved for may 9th. Sad that the breakfast is without characters as this is the first and only time the kids will go to this restaurant…
There aren’t characters at BOG lunch anyway. And only the Beast at dinner.

One step away from Character Dining. I’ll bet on Princesses before the end of the calendar year.
Personally I would be surprised if they changed it to a Princess breakfast with characters as it would draw people away from Cinderella’s Royal Table which is also a Princess breakfast just a few feet away – and 2 TS credits.
I hope they extend the test and keep it as a Quick Service!
It appears this is going to be a Quick Service breakfast, without characters. Is this correct?
PS – If this is a Quick Service, I’m guessing it will be part of the DDP as lunch is?
This is going to be a meal without characters. In addition, it will accept the Disney Dining Plan as one counter service credit.
At $19.99 a head, that makes this an exceptional deal for counter service credit, and the cheapest way to get into the park before opening unless it’s an EMH day.
$20 for counter svc breakfast is INSANE. And this isn’t an “everything costs more at WDW” situation, because I’m comparing it to Disney prices.
$20 +tax for an egg mcmuffin…I keep waiting for phrases such as “well-qualified customers” and “installment plan.” At those prices I want a princess to cook, serve and then sit down and entertain us for the few minutes it takes a eat a faux cronut.
It might make it a good use of a DDP credit, but not so much cash, as for $5 more you could do all you care to eat at the Crystal Palace.
However they do look like they are aiming for a better quality French style breakfast at Be Our Guest, with good ingredients like Brie and continental meats.
A lot of people are comparing against the $8.99 quick service Bounty Platter breakfast, but I think the quality for these BOG breakfasts looks worth a dollar or two more, so $11.99 entree, $2.99 pastry $2.99 coffee means you are paying $2 just for the atmosphere!
The price is comparable with lunch.
Lunch at BOG is $12 entree, $4 cupcake and $3 drink, so that’s $19 for your two course meal.
Breakfast at BOG is $20 for pastries, entree (with fruit side included on most options) and drinks so $20 for a two course meal. The breakfast entrees don’t look quite as filling maybe as a lunch because the lunch entree generally have a potato side, but overall the price is comparable for the adult meal. Especially if you are able to get a juice and a coffee.
