Celebrate the Haunted Mansion’s 50th Anniversary With Special Merchandise

Did you know that the Haunted Mansion will be celebrating 50 years on August 9? The attraction, which debuted at Disneyland back in 1969 has been delighting (and playfully scaring) Guests since its opening and to celebrate this monumental occasion, both Disneyland and Walt Disney World will be offering unique merchandise.

At Disneyland, there will be apparel, accessories, collectibles and more available. Here are a few items you can pick up:

The Host A Ghost looks really cool! With a simple tap on these jars, dearly departed souls will appear, including Constance Hatchaway, Professor Phineas Plump, The Hatbox Ghost, among others. Pick up your Host a Ghost at the dedicated cart in New Orleans Square.

There will also be commemorative items such as an ear hat, tee shirts and other ghoulish gear.

You’ll also find a plethora of Haunted Mansion-inspired jewelry and accessories. ALEX AND ANI is celebrating with a “50 Years of Happy Haunts” charm. In addition, PANDORA is releasing three new Haunted Mansion-inspired charms, including a limited-edition anniversary charm. You’ll be able to pick up these charms at La Mascarade d’Orleans. In addition, for those of you who collect pins, a variety of anniversary-themed pins will be available.

Moving to Walt Disney World, the resort will also offer the Host-A-Ghost collection. You can pick yours up at Memento Mori. You can also find commemorative items such as an ear hat, ornament, mug, magnet and even a toy replica of the doom buggy vehicle at Memento Mori. Memento Mori will also offer an ALEX AND ANI bracelet, light up headband and 50th anniversary apparel. There will also be a PANDORA charm set available at Uptown Jewelers on both August 8 and 9.

At Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, you can find a Haunted-Mansion inspired Dooney & Bourke collection including a tote and cross body bag. There will even be a special Passholders satchel.

Check out Frontier Trading Post for the commemorative “day of” pin, mystery pin collection and a glow in the dark Madame Leota Funko Pop!

Oh and if you are looking for a sweet treat, make your way to the Haunted Mansion ice cream cart for the Host-A-Ghost chocolate cupcake made with a dark chocolate truffle filling, crispy pearls, buttercream icing, and milk chocolate decoration.

For guests who would like to purchase this special merchandise, they will be available for purchase beginning at 7:45 a.m.! Guests will also have early access to the Haunted Mansion during this time.

If you want to get the jump on these items though, at the Disney Villain After Hours on August 8, you’ll be able to have the advance opportunity to pick up a number of the items.
