Disneyland Resort Hotel Restaurants to See Updates
Big changes are in store for some great Disneyland Resort Hotel restaurants.
First, Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel, is closing soon and will re-open in early 2019 as Tangaroa Terrace, Tropical Bar and Grill. The restaurant’s ‘50s Tiki-inspired design will remain, however the restaurant will be updated to include mid-century modern architecture. When it reopens, Guests can expect a new outdoor bar and refreshed patio. New details will also be added including light fixtures made of colorful fishing floats and netting, a tropical mural and bamboo accents. The stop will serve serve island cocktails and Asian-inspired fare. Oh and Guests will find a dedicated service window for various coffee selections in the morning and yes, you’ll be able to get Dole Whip throughout the day here! The stop will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an open-air marketplace for quick bites. While Tangaroa Terrace is under refurbishment, Guests will be able to stop at The Coffee House, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar and Steakhouse 55.
Speaking of refurbishments, White Water Snacks at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will also close soon and re-open later this year with a fresh new look. Hearthstone Lounge will offer grab-and-go food and beverage options, during the interim.
And that’s not all! In spring 2019, there will be a new pool bar at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The bar will feature natural boulder stonework and clinker bricks, as well as a custom tile mural at the back bar. In addition, a trellis structure will provide shade for those looking to enjoy sipping beverages and snacking on appetizers.
