Disneyland Ticket Pricing Breakdown for 2018

It’s that time again. Time for the annual Disneyland Resort ticket price increase.

These changes all seem to be gearing up for that big enhancement that’s coming to the Disneyland Resort. You know….Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Disney seems to be getting ready for the influx of crowds for next year by getting started this year. One of the big changes that occurred to get ready for Galaxy’s Edge is that the Annual Passport renewal discount has now been discontinued.

Two years, Disneyland introduced seasonal pricing. That continues going forward and means that each month is divided into being either a value, regular, or peak day. The new system will work as follows: If you’re visiting in September, you’ll pay value pricing. If you want to visit around the holiday week of Christmas and New Year’s, you pay peak pricing.

Seasonal pricing only impact 1 day tickets. Those who purchase multi-day tickets will not see seasonal pricing.

Here’s what this all means for Disneyland tickets:

Single Day Tickets

1-Day Peak, Regular and Value tickets must be used by December 31, 2019, but the amount paid for an unused, expired ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the current price, so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.

Peak, Regular and Value dates continue to be added to the calendar from time to time, so you’ll need to check dates often. The dates assigned to each of these seasons and the number of days in each of these seasons may change from year to year. Multi-Day Tickets

Multi-day park ticket pricing has increased as well and is as follows:

• Valid for same-day entry into both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park
• 3-Day or longer Disneyland Resort Park Hopper tickets include one Magic Morning admission into selected attractions at a designated Disneyland Resort Theme Park one hour before general park opening
• Tickets expire 13 days after first use or January 13, 2019, whichever occurs first.
