I love a good Disney tour. It’s so cool getting to go behind the magic and take a look at things that most Guests normally don’t get to see.

So, I’m super stoked about this brand new tour that has been introduced at Epcot called World Showcase: DestiNations. Its goal is to bring culture, history, and Disney magic to life. During this five hour tour, Guests will get to see what inspired the Disney animators in the creation of beloved movie classics. The tour is an all walking tour that highlights the gorgeous architecture and world history, includes a cultural demonstration at one of the pavilions, and the best part is that Guests can also partake in a dining experience at Restaurant Marrakesh.

The cost for the tour is $109 and it takes place daily, departing at 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Park admission is required, and guests must be aged 16 and over. The tour can be booked by calling (407) 939-5277.

  • Wow, I’m a little surprised by the criticism/skepticism right out of the gate. Disney is ADDING a 5 hour tour, with lunch, in World Showcase, at a price that I don’t find terrible. I am most definitely booking this for my trip in December! It sounds awesome!

  • “Guests will get to see what inspired the Disney animators in the creation of beloved movie classics.” really sounds like code for “we’ll spend 4 of the 5 hours in Norway talking about ‘Frozen’.” Maybe this tour could just, you know, talk about the countries.

Or maybe I’m just cynical from reading the ticket price article.

  • Can’t wait to see a review of this!

  • Restaurant Marrakesh is amazing. The food is wonderful and the decor is opulent and we’ll themed. I can promise you that the pork or chicken with the cucose will blow your mind. A true hidden gem in wdw.

  • Restaurant Marrakesh? I have never ate there simply because others I travel with are not such adventurous diners. Surprised the dining destination is not one that offers more neutral options.

    • totally agree with you. I have not eaten there as not my cup of tea re food, am not very adventurous! Perhaps there will be some neutral options. I would like to do the tour but feel i would be sitting with an empty plate in front of me 🙂 – On the other hand if “forced” to have to eat there, who knows, maybe I will find something I quite enjoy

  • Looks like an interesting tour, but I don’t think it is worth the $30 more than the same length Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK.

  • I am beyond excited for this tour! I’m going to WDW for my best friend’s 40th birthday and I think this would be a perfect “extra” for that trip! I hope Disney will still doing this tour in April 2016! Fingers crossed 🙂
