Guardians of the Galaxy Attraction Coming to Epcot
Guardians of the Galaxy is an incredibly popular franchise. With its second movie doing very well this year, it’s no surprise that an attraction based on these characters is coming to Walt Disney World.
An E-ticket attraction based on the action-packed world of Guardians of the Galaxy will be coming to Future World in Epcot. According to Disney, this new attraction will adhere to the original vision of Epcot’s Future World as the place to experience the excitement and adventure offered by space travel.
This attraction will replace Ellen’s Energy Adventure, which will close on August 13.
The new as-yet-unnamed attraction is expected to open by Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary in 2021.
Stay tuned to the TouringPlans blog for more info on this upcoming attraction.
2021? Epcot itself was built in 3 years, it better be good!
I think it sucks your getting rid of the great American movie ride, big mistake, your going to piss a lot of people off , thanks once again for another bad move Disney
Good luck with your GED classes, Rich. After that, try Charm School. 😉
I must have only seen the version of Walt’s EPCOT film missing the parts about talking raccoons and trees.
The ride sounds great, but why is it being placed in EPCOT? Seems like it should be in Tomorrowland. Dean, I too, must have only seen that version of Walt describing EPCOT.
Because Epcot is the park with dragging attendance.
