Magic Kingdom Attractions for Babies + Video
For today’s video, we’re talking top Magic Kingdom attractions for babies.
As most of you know, babies are welcome on any attraction that does not have a height requirement. This includes shows, parades and fireworks as well.
For the purpose of this video, I chose attractions that I felt had a calming presence (meaning no drops or loud noises) and might be a good place to start for those bringing young ones to Walt Disney World for the first time.

I have never been to WDW, but we had our nine month old grandson at Disneyland and he went on and really enjoyed all the Fantasyland rides, It’s a Small World, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Finding Nemo Submarine, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion. At DCA he loved The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. He also enjoyed Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!, Toy Story Midway Mania, and the Bug’s land rides. And of course he loved the parades and fireworks. I was surprised how many rides he could ride with us! I think because he was so young he wasn’t afraid of any of it just interested in it all. He’s a pretty bright little one and he doesn’t get any screen time at all so that may have played a part in his reactions to the rides. One thing I would caution parents is a lot of the rides and the music at the fireworks can be really loud. We bought sound dampening ear protection before our trip. We’ve had him back at DL and DCA at 16 months and 19 months and his new favorite ride is Astro Orbitor! He can spot it a mile away!

It sounds like you’ve made some great memories with your grandson! We’ve had similar experiences with our children…both as babies and as they’ve grown. I find that especially when they’re newborns, it’s pretty easy to bring them on different attractions around the parks.
I completely agree with bringing ear protection for the fireworks and parades. We do that as well. However, I understand that young ones don’t always like having things on their ears. When my kids went through those phases, we just covered their ears with our hands. I figure, it’s better than nothing!
