What is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a season unto itself. It is a time when Mickey and the gang ring in the holidays with merriment and festivities, including specialty fireworks, parades, meet and greets, and food. Many families travel to Disney World around this time to take in this event and all the extravagant decorations. This event is only available on select nights and requires a separate ticket.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets

For 2022, tickets range from $149 to $199. The highest-priced tickets are closer to Christmas Eve at $199. You can expect to save a couple of dollars if you attend in November or early December. You can buy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party tickets directly from Disney, or our agents can do the purchasing for you. The least expensive Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are for the party nights from November 10 (the second party of the year) to November 17th.

Tickets are extremely limited, and we recommend buying them sooner rather than later. There is a chance that dates will sell out quickly, especially if they are closer to the holidays, and they might not be available the day of the event.

Unlike certain paid events, you do not need an additional theme park ticket or reservation to attend Mickey’s Very Mery Christmas Party.

You can use your ticket on the day of your event starting at 4:00 p.m. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. and runs until midnight. Of course, if you want to visit the parks before 4:00 p.m., you will also need a theme park ticket and reservation. The park closes to guests who do not have a ticket to the event starting at 6:00 p.m.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket on select nights. You will want to view tickets and discounted dates on the Disney World website.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show

This sweet, enchanting fireworks show showcases all the wonderful feelings that holiday music brings. This show uses beautiful projection mapping on the Cinderella Castle in coordination with fireworks. These fireworks are exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and are not viewable on non-party nights.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

All of your Disney friends gather and celebrate the merriest time of year in this parade. You’ll see characters donned in their holiday best, along with the iconic marching toy soldiers and gingerbread men. You’ll even see Santa on his sleigh saying hello before his big night!

Club Tinsel

Santa’s elves and friends have transformed Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe into an epic dance party in Tomorrowland. Ever wanted to have an epic dance-off with a reindeer? Now is your chance!

A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas

Hang out with Mike Wazowski, Buzz Lightyear, and Stitch in this out-of-this-world party featuring contemporary twists on some of your favorite Christmastime songs.

Disney Junior Jingle Jam

If you’re traveling with little ones, they’ll love dancing and playing with the Disney Junior characters. You can find Fancy Nancy, Doc McStuffins, and Vampirina over by Storybook Circus.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

Just like the song, it’s the most merriest time of the year at Disney World. Mickey and his friends sing and dance to festive tunes and celebrate the holiday season. You’ll be able to see characters including Woody, Jesse, Jose, Panchito, Snow White, Peter Pan, and more. We love the opulent performance from Clarabelle Cow as she belts out All I Want For Christmas Is You.

Attraction Overlays

This year, some of your favorite attractions are seeing holiday overlays that are exclusive to this event. You’ll find these party-exclusive makeovers at Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, Space Mountain, and Mad Tea Party. Jungle Cruise also sees its characteristically punny theming, which is also available during regular park hours.

Included with your event ticket are cookies and hot cocoa! If you’re like us, you will never turn down a free cookie. But, should your sweet tooth be satisfied, there are also menus available at select quick-service restaurants offering exclusive event foods. As expected for the time of year, you’ll find Magic Kingdom decked out with magical holiday decor.
