Minnie Van Milestone and New Enhancements Coming Soon
It seems like just yesterday, but the Minnie Van service has been in operation since 2017, and now they’ve hit a major milestone: 1,000,000 guests transported. In collaboration with Lyft (the official rideshare of Walt Disney World and Disneyland), Minnie Van service has transported guests to magical locations all around Walt Disney World as well as service to Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral.
Coming this fall, Lyft and Disney plan updates to make it easier to procure a Minnie Van ride, including making it easier and more convenient to find a pickup location and request a ride as well as improving the ability to request features like a wheelchair accessible ride. We’ll have further details as they are announced.

Had recently experienced Minnie Van service, specifically the large vans for transporting ECVs. Overall a very pleasant experience. Contemporary Resort desk had called to request one for me and my group of five with 2 ECVs. Was at the resort within 25 mins (estimated wait was 30 mins), which wasn’t bad as it was 7am and they only had a few large chair lift equipped vans. Loading was quick and got us over to Hollywood Studios in a few minutes. Cost was $35. Not bad, also, as the wait for Disney bus was about 15 mins, but there were a few other guests with ECVs waiting. We would have missed one or possibly two buses. Driver gave us some tips on the rides and Disney trivia. I’d do I think again.
We love the Minnie Vans! They are not the most economical way to travel, even a standard Lyft is cheaper, but the convenience of pick up locations at the parks and some of the places they can take you are great benefits! Leaving any park other than MK to go to Hoop Dee Doo? Minnie Vans save a ton of time and bus transfers! Looking to beat the bus crowds at park close back to your resort, and don’t want to traipse to the pickup in the parking lot ? Minnie Vans have you covered.
