Mobile Order Rolled Out to More Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Locations
Even more Walt Disney World Resort Hotel quick service restaurants will be offering Mobile Order moving forward. Guests are now be able to use the helpful tool at Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, the Riverside Mill Food Court at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Recently, Mobile Order was rolled out at Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, as well as at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, as well as the World Premiere Food Court, the End Zone Food Court and the Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Resorts.
For those who have never used Mobile Ordering, it’s simple to use. Via the My Disney Experience app, you’ll click on the restaurant you want to dine at, choose the “Order Food” button, select your items, review your order, and pay. After paying, a button will appear that says “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” which you should press when you get near the restaurant. You will then be notified via the app when the meal is ready. To pick up your meal, you’ll head to a separate, marked pickup area.
Those using Mobile Order can only pay with credit or debit cards and those on the Disney Dining Plan can choose to redeem meals and snacks via the app. Keep in mind that cash and gift cards are not accepted via Mobile Order.
DO you have to have a credit card linked to “My Experience” OR can you enter a credit card each time you make a order?
If you’re so inclined, you can enter a credit card every time you order. The mobile order window in the app shows the saved card(s) in your profile, and has an option to “add card manually.” You can use that option, enter card info, and uncheck the “save to profile” box to use mobile order without ever storing credit card info in the app.
Did that answer your question?
